Mid-Ohio gymnastics, we have an activity for virtually any girl or boy,
regardless of age. Our programs include:
Pre-School
Gymnastics
Playful
Parenting (18 months to 2 years)
Developmental
program is designed to be a positive interaction between parent and
child.
Mini
Stars (3 and 4 year olds)
Innovative
gymnastics and movement education are introduced to the pre-school
child.
Superstars
(5 year olds)
A challenging gymnastics program for 5 year olds as
they prepare for beginner classes.
Recreational
Gymnastics
Girl's
Beginner I (6 year olds and older)
No
previous gymnastics experience required. Designed to develop basic
gymnastics skills on vaulting, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor
exercise.
Boy's
Beginner I (6 year olds and older)
No
previous gymnastics experience required. These classes are designed
to teach basic skills on vaulting, high bar, rings, pommel horse,
parallel bar, and floor exercise.
Girl's
Beginner II
Previous
gymnastics experience required in vault, uneven bars, balance beam,
and floor exercise.
Girl's
Advanced
Only
girls with advanced skills are recommended by staff for this preparatory
class for competitive gymnastics.

Girl's Compulsory
Gymnastics (Level 4 - 6)
Gymnasts develop skills to compete in USA
Gymnastics (USAG) sanctioned competitions in which their routines
are identical for each event.
Boy's
Compulsory Gymnastics (Level 4 - 6)
Gymnasts develop skills to compete in USA Gymnastics sanctioned competitions
in which their routines are identical for each event.
Girl's
Optional Gymnastics (Level 7 - 10)
Gymnasts
develop skills to compete in USA Gymnastics sanctioned competitions
in which their routines vary from each gymnast and event.
Cheerleading
Elementary
Cheerleading (1st through 5th grades)
Designed
to develop basic tumbling skills and jumps.
Beginner/Advanced Cheerleading
(ages 12 and up)
Tumbling
skills and jumps needed for cheerleading are taught in this class.
Competitive
Cheerleading
Competitive
team (Mid-Ohio Xplosion All-Stars) cheerleading helps develop advanced
skills.
